HAGL coach shows strictness towards goalkeeper Trung Kiên

Despite goalkeeper Trung Kiên's outstanding performance in the match against CATP.HCM, coach Lê Quang Trãi still believes that Trung Kiên needs to strive further if he wants to achieve future success.

On the afternoon of March 7th, HAGL club hosted CATP.HCM club at their home stadium Pleiku in round 15 of the V-League 2025/2026. While struggling in the lower half of the standings, coach Lê Quang Trãi and his team urgently needed a victory to improve their position. However, facing a resilient CATP.HCM and lacking luck, the mountain city team had to accept a bitter defeat.

Despite being the away team, CA TP.HCM did not appear inferior to their opponent. The players under coach Lê Huỳnh Đức were ready to engage in an equal, attacking game with HAGL. In the 45th minute, Ngo Dang Khoa scored the opening goal 1-0 for CA TP.HCM with a close-range finish after receiving a pass from Makrillos Peter. This remained the only goal of the match, even though many opportunities were created by players from both sides in the second half.
