Officially into the quarter-finals, Arteta makes a resolute statement about the ambition to win four titles.

Following the thrilling 2-1 win against Mansfield, coach Mikel Arteta cautioned his squad to seize chances more effectively in order to fulfill their goal of conquering all four competitions this campaign.

Arsenal just experienced a match that was far from easy. at Mansfield's home ground.Despite fielding a lineup with several changes, "The Gunners" still gained an early advantage thanks to Noni Madueke's superb strike late in the first half. However, the challenging pitch and the spirited fightback from the home team forced Mikel Arteta's side to sweat profusely.

A mistake by young player Marli Salmon early in the second half gifted Will Evans the equalizing goal, pushing the match into a tense stalemate. It required the brilliance of Eberechi Eze from the bench for Arsenal to finally overcome the opponent and secure their place among the top eight strongest teams.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, the Spanish strategist acknowledged the toughness of the tournament: “That was truly an FA Cup match. Credit must be given to Mansfield, the stadium, and the atmosphere created by the fans. A fantastic atmosphere that kept driving their team forward, and they caused us a lot of trouble.”

Despite securing the ticket to advance, Arteta could not hide his dissatisfaction with his players' finishing ability. Arsenal had dominant periods but repeatedly missed clear-cut chances to decide the match earlier.

“We must be much sharper in finishing in front of goal compared to today, because we had four or five clear opportunities that we didn't capitalize on,” Arteta candidly criticized.

Manager Mikel Arteta admitted Arsenal endured a very difficult match against Mansfield.

He further analyzed: “If that happens, the score gap narrows and gives the opponent a chance. Clearly, we also made mistakes leading to the conceded goal, which caused us to lose momentum and gave them confidence.”

The biggest positive alongside the advancement ticket was the emergence of young talents. Max Dowman made an energetic return after injury, while Marli Salmon, despite his error, still showed great potential.

Coach Arteta expressed: “Overall, I am pleased with the performance. We had two 16-year-old players in the starting lineup, I don't know if that has ever happened before? I am truly proud of them.”

This victory helps Arsenal continue to harbor hopes in all four competitions. Even though the schedule is becoming extremely congested and injuries to Calafiori and Trossard are causing considerable concern, Arteta remains optimistic:

“I think everyone feels they are part of the journey. Clearly, we are competing on four fronts. We all hope we can get closer to the goals we can achieve.”

Arsenal will officially know their opponent in the FA Cup quarter-finals after the draw ceremony held on Monday evening.
